Deciding on new case

Hi guys,

Don't want to bore you with details, so long story short, I need a new case for my new system, and it's come down to the following;

Thermaltake Tai Chi
Price: Free (without the water cooling)

Thermaltake Mozart TX
Price: About £120~

My third option is a Lian Li case, but as I haven't really paid much interest in Lian Li cases up until recently, I have no idea as to where to start on my hunt for an awesome Lian Li case. I love the size of them, and the modding potential is amazing, but I could use a little help in deciding. =P

For me, choosing a case is like trying to find a wife; it's always hard to settle down with just one, but even when you've got it, you can't help but look at pictures of the others on the internet.

So, what I want to ask is;

a) does anyone have these cases? Are they worth getting?
b) does anyone have any advice on Lian Li cases?

Thanks in advance!

I like the "Free" option myself.
That & that case looks HUGE. You could probably hang a change of cloths in there too...LOL

I don't even know what that symbal is in front of 120. It realy doesn't matter in my book. Full tower on wheels? Free? No brainer. If you don't like it, plant some herbs in it and buy the other one.!

Sure looks like the right choice to me. The two doors are nice and on wheels, yet! If that S.O.B. was over here I'd get two.
Just how did it come to be free in the first place?

I've worked exclusively with Thermaltake cases for some years now on my home boxen. You will not be disappointed in either build or function. They aren't cheap ordinarily but the price on that one is "reasonable".

The Tai Chi is a very nice case, (about $400 new IIRC) a bit hard to keep clean from dust on the outside because of the irregular surface, but roomy and solid. The Mozart is an awesome case, the better looking of the two IMO, (my dealer has one so I know from hands-on experience), but at nearly $250...the choice is clear. Either one is meticulously built. You will like either one, I'm sure.

New case is awesome. Love it.

And to answer an earlier question, I got it free because my cousin who's used it for a while no longer has a use for it, so he kindly handed it to me.

Oh, and did I mention it came with a full system in it? DFI LANParty mobo sky 939 (still to check processor), HD, and an X800GTO. FUN!

Its a tiny case though, remember there is limmited space between the PSU and the Heatsink/Fan over the CPU.... no room for aftermarket cooling.
