I put in a couple of the build pics. I hope you like them.

Looking good. I assume you photoshopped the backgrounds on re-touched-092 and re-touched-097

I had some else do the re-touching. I don't know enough and it'll be a while before I do. Just another one of those things I want to learn but can't find the time. It's amazing, I sometimes spend 16-18 hours a day on the computer and I can't find the time to learn the programs I want to.
I've got Mint 7 on dual boot as well as the laptop and It won't be untill Win 7 dies on me and I'm forced into total immersion with Mint 7 will I learn much-OH, the trials and tribulations!

How you doing, booman? Haven't heard from you for a while. Did you ever get that wireless gadget hooked up?
Now that I have PetCarrier, I sold the tower you helped with. I've had that tower since I moved over here something like 15 years ago or better. I kind of miss the big thing.
PetCarrier is great. Small when buttoned up but with all the room in the world when it's layed open.
The painting looks good but starting to show some dings, but putting on a re-coat isn't much of a problem. this one turned out pretty well. I am going to remove the casters though-haveing it roll around on top of the desk is a pain!

I'm doing all right. I have been working alot due to my work cutting pay....
How is Linux Mint? I read about it and have been wondering if that is the distro most new Windows-to-Linux users would like...
I did know you sold the older case with the window... how much did you get for it?

Of course, I didn't know your exact situation but did think about you when that was in the news.
Loss of income always hurts.
From wht I've seen of Mint so far, it was made for the Windows user but still it lets you know It is Linux. I'm not going to spend the money on windows 7, even though It's the best I've ever seen and worth the price. Like everyone, I have to prioritize where to put my computer money and Mint 7 won! I think Mint is going to be that good as well. They still have some work to do on the 64bit version but this just might hurt MS a little.
Time to take some casters off.

I'll eventually try Mint when I have an extra computer. I may even try a dual-boot with one of my existing computers.
As for Windows 7.... I will wait until I have an amazing game or program that won't run in XP or Vista. Then I'll have to upgrade. Until then, I'm pretty happy with the OS's I have
