For external drive chassis.. what type of paint would I use?

Well, purchasing one of the black chieftec cases.. I have a couple of removable kingston hard drive chassis.. but they are beige.. just wondering what type of paint would I use to best match this case..

Firstly, that picture's wrong, the side handle is black, trust me there's one under my desk



it's not very tough wearing paint though, most ppl have called it "gunmetal black" so I guess that colour, in probably an automotive touchup if you want it shiny, this is quite dull though, so pass

Ya I know hehe my brother has the same case but doesn't have external drive chassis like me lol Hmm what to get what to get..

*edit* Man I received no sandwich artist today at subway.. that is the crappiest looking sub I've seen in my life.. how can someone mess up turkey and cheese.. /sigh

Get some test paints, paint them, sand them off if you dont like them

Automotive interior paint works quite well if you're painting anything made of plastic . . .

looks similar to the satin black paint that i use for a lot of cases, i get it from halfords, just the ordinary touchup paint. if you put on 3 or 4 coats and let it cure for 2 weeks or so its really tough as well. works fine on metal or plastic.

Actually, that handle color is not necessarily black on the black case. I have one with black, another with the color shown in the pic which is kind of bluish, and 2 with grey. It's random which color you get because I ordered two at once one time and I got different colored handles.

Hey, that think looks like the Antec cases Spyder is always using. Are those things like, the preferred case for everybody these days? For that price range though, because I think lian-li are great!

I used rustolium or however you spell it...

Dries fast and lasts. I used a semi gloss black and it is prob pretty close to what you need....
