| neon light bit the dust? i've got a neon light from pepboys (its only a few months old) and its stopped working all of the sudden, i have a switch so i can turn it off in the day... i just checked the molex connector i wired and its reading right at 12V (or a little over...) what could be wrong? could it be the switch? its preety heavy duty, but old and had really large stranded wires orginally. i dont know what the current rating for it is- how much does a 12in neon pull? i would hate to change it- its such a nice switch

| The problem with neons from auto stores and the such is they tend to be of the lesser quality. I had one in my room running for almost 3 months and suddenly kaput. I think it was the transformer in the supply but i fried everything else in testing.
