heym HN wild 9 -we have the same birthday. not long till i'm 18. anyway. For my case mods I havent got a picutre but i put a little blowhole with 80mm Fan&guard in the top with a rubber mould round the edge from coolcasemods.co.uk. Bolts on the top look pretty sweet too. Whole thing in matt black, including drive bezels (Picked out the DVD and compact disc logos by hand with silver warhammer paint. Chrome switches on the front for the case fans. Window cut in the side - as soon as I can get some perspex, I'm going to fit the secondary USB port Epox supplied with my 8kta3 into the window itself. Also, flourescent green light inside. Trouble is it gets quite cramped being a midi case and the psu obscures most of the components (especially my shiny blue anodised thermaltake Volcano7 HS/fan). Anyone know what's a good varnish to use on spray paints since mine keeps scratching off the side (I never prepared it properly in the first place so I onyl have myself to blame tho it looked pretty cool before).

I'm thinking of doing a larger case where everything will be more visible and I can start again without the cramped space.

Should I paint the drives? I kinda like the contrast.

The inside if the door is flat black, by the way. That contrast, I definitely like.

Next I will be painting the two external RAIDs to match the main rig.

What in the world do you use this beast for? It has very cool "wow" factor. And what is that monster next to it. I sure wish I could come see your stuff. Looks extreme...

Sam. The two monsters next to it would be drive D, and E.

D is the one on top. It is 7 UW 4.3gig 7200 RPM seagate Baracudda's in a RAID 5 arrangement. Below that, drive E is 4 23gig full height 5¼ seagate UW drives in a RAID 0 arrangement. Currently, I am booting off 4 more of the Seagate 4.3's internal, and useing D for safe storrage, and E for Divx movies that are already backed up to CD.

If you neant the other monster, that's one of my SUN 20e20 20" trinitron monitors. I have two. Both on this machine via a pathetic GF2 mx400 dual head card.
