thanks,

when the economy picks up in the construction market out here I have plans to do a one piece face made of diamond aluminum so I can completely destroy whats left of the lian li look.....so sick of lian li cases but truth is they are so practical. Here is my schematic too for the multistage shutdown and start up.

SYSTEM LAYOUT- 2 atx power supplies, 2 peltier power supplies, 2 pcmods rheobus', 2 water cooling rigs, prometeia cooler, multistage shutdown system.....plus the normal system stuff.
BEFORE YOU ASK- the system weights around 178lbs. so "no" it wont tip over, The table that you might be able to see it on is solid marble with cast iron legs...so "no" it wont break...lol. I live on an old army base and my electrical meter has never worked so "no" I havent any clue how much it costs to run this system :-).
Everything was done by hand with a dremel, makita 14.4v drill, makita 14.4v jigsaw, stanley rivetgun, and lots of bits. All 3 segments are riveted together using heavy duty rivets so they cannot be seperated.

THE TOP PIECE- 2 meanwell 320watt peltier power supplies, 1 enermax 465vp for fans and lights, 2 acrylic bay resevoirs, 1 swiftech dual 120mm radiator sandwiched between 4 y.s. tech 120x35mm 122cfm fans, 1 original copper procore w/ 120x35mm y.s. tech 122cfm fan, 2 pcmods rheobus fan controllers mounted through acrylic to controll all fans, swiftech mcp300 pump for gpu peltier, custom blue and turquise l.e.d.s. for rheobus', multistage shutdown relays for system cooling, and a couple of uv 12inch cold cathods. I sleeved the wireing using uv reactive flexopet sleeving and 3m heatshrink from svc.com. dual 80mm sunon 50cfm intakes, temp sensors for each peltier, toggles to bypass pelts, toggle to manual trigger for h2o system bleeding while not affecting pelts. datel voltage displays for meanwell 1 meanwell 2 and enermax12v line cut into a lian li cd blank. Laser cut biohazzard door from crazypc.com, brushed handles to easily remove the face, the small circuit board you see at the lower face is the attinuator for the 3,5, and 12v lines to the antec 550watt psu that is in the lower case powering the critical system components.

THE CENTERPIECE-main system-epox 8rda, amd athlon xp2800+ @ 2,800mhz stable or 2,832mhz for kicks, sapphire 9800pro 256ddr2, 1 gig of corsair xms3500c2 dual channel config, antec 550watt true control atx, audigy 2, linksys n.i.c.,80gig maxtor ata133 w/8mb cache, dvd, cdrw, L.I.S. platinum lcd display, vantec removable ata133 drive bay.
Dual thermaltake ducting mods with dual 80mm sunon 50cfm fans through the acrylic in the door to cool the ram on the gpu along with a sunon 120mm mounted to the rear of the gpu behind the mesh filter replacing the floppy. Datel backlight lcd display for variable voltage monitoring of the volt modded gpu, dual 80mm sunon 50cfm intakes, dual 80mm sunon 50cfm fans for exhaust, 1 80mm 50 cfm fan for the heatsinks over the mobo mosfets, mcw50t on the 9800 core, modified mcw50t on the northbridge, passive purple sinks on the southbridge, pcmods powerdown protector to activate pump/atx/pelt psu relays in top case, keyed power on, and brushed aluminum handles to easily remove the face, a custom blue led chaser installed behind the face to create shadow effects behind the intakes, and Im sure there is more but thats all I can think of at the moment.

THE BOTTOM-thats the prometeia phase exchange cooler with the lian li mod and then I did some 80mm cutouts and added chrome filters and biohazzard grills in an attempt to kill the whole lian li thing.

The original night shots with the ccfl sunbeam intakes have changed....due do the lack of cooling effect I have switched all of these sunbeams out for 50cfm sunons.....my intent is to add some ccfl angel mods at some point but for now Im shifting from cosmetics to performance and trying to get my hands on another prommie for the 9800pro!

internet/guest gaming system

this one is pretty self explanitory...I sleeved everything using flexopet sleeving and 3m heatshrink....asus a7n8x deluxe/xp2700+/9700pro/audigy platinum/ custom painted blue metallic drives...put a 120 in the top cause I used to have one of my h20 rigs in there. pcmods baybus with turquois l.e.d.s at the front base...drilling cast acrylic is no fun. I also have a 17.4 dvi panel translucent blue on this system. This is primarily my email and message board system.

Thats a real piece of work/art Mr.McFaul! Can you make your "multi-stage shutdown" schematic a little bigger/clearer? What is an attinuator, if you mean attenuator why would you attenuate the 3.3, 5, 12 v rails of a psu? Nice work again. Very expensive too.

How do you cool you RAM on the 9800pro 256MB? Big heatsinks and lots of CFM? I have my 6 80mm ys-techs on 4v instead of 12v since they are so loud!

I have attached a larger pic of the relay schematic however I since I used one program to make it and another to compress it and then deleted the original composition....I cant make it more clear...its pretty simple though (on paper anyway). Its just a series of swiftech normally open relays actuated by the fan output of a pcmods power down protector. The original intent was to use 2 power down protectors so that the pelts shut down prior to their related water cooling and fans but In the many months of gathering parts for this system I seem to have lost one of them. Hidden behind something In the garage Im sure....dont say it I already checked the couch cushions
Yes, I did mean to say attenuator......cant expect me to be able to type and spell at the same time can ya? If you use voltage meters to measure the true voltages on your psu while under you will find that there is significant voltage drop and instability with a atx psu. Therefor you can either mod it with variable resistors or you can save the hassle and get an antec truecontrol 550 which has a baybus that contains a fans speed controller and set of 3 variable resistors for attenuation of the 3 rails. This allows you to beef up the lines as you overclock and draw more.
I havent figured out how to measure the voltage on the vref and vddr on the 9800-256 yet so I havent required larger then stock ram sinks however I am currently using 2x80mm sunon 50cfm fans in combonation with a sunon 120mm to cool the vreg and ram chips on it. I used those thermaltake ducting mods to get the fans snug up to the rear of the card and the 120mm is behind the screen that replaced the floppy port to assist the air upward from the 2x80mm sunon 50cfm intakes at the bottom. Of course given enough cash and enough time I will pull the 120mm out and put thermaltake duct mods on the 2x80mm intakes also which I think will be more efficient. Either way ya go its loud and I do have the option of running near silent but with the pelts going ya really dont want to or you will soon find that your pumps are leaking from the seals heating up! Lost 2 swiftech mcp300's that way.....then I checked their site and they specifically say "make sure the water is well cooled or the pump may fail!" Wish I had read that before having to clean up the leaks.
Back to the schematic....radio shack has everything you need to build this stuff on a pcb which is my intent but I have gotten lazy and started playing again...hehe....maybe at some later point!
