well, it gives off the image that it is not, however, with the close proximity of the drivecage to the motherboard, you cannot deny that it is far too small for any current "high-end" system. it'e too cramped for decent airflow, and with a large videocard, this is made even worse by the arrangemet of the side fan.


My kv8-pro...was perfect...but it's about 2 inches less wide than any other motherboard.

the tsunami belies it's real size becasue it's SO DAMN WIDE., but that wideness itself makes it hard for my 7800gtx to get fresh air. so i am caseless, until i find a big enough case.

you wanna get one of those Lian Li PC-V1000s ther massive, plus the graphics cards are upside down and at the top of the case.

The thermaltake Armor is a huge case with plenty of cooling options. It is BTX upgradable and will hold a wack of drives.

Where u get ur PCI-E adapter for urs?! Cant seem to find them in the UK

Your setup is grand...only thing with it i cud comment on is the bay positioning on the front. I found it a pain on my Kandalf anywhere u put sumthing it looks out of place. Grand job tho!
Btw where did u get ur skull type thing to cover the drive bay hotswaps? Also did u paint the Thermaltake logo on yer window?

My Vid card is AGP so no adaptor there. The drive bay hot swaps were removed never did like those tool less things anyway. The thermaltake logo was painted with glow in the dark fabric paint LOL. As far as the bay positioning I don't have much choice but to put everything up top as I am running 2 120mm fans in the front instead of just the 1.

dunno bout anyone else, but the 24 pin i got from ULTRA seemed fubard when it got here.. i tried to use it, but system simply wouldn't power on right... (fans wouldn't spin up on mobo or card) then i use the 20-24 i had from my old PSU and no problems... o.O

Sumtimes being in the UK sux for modding...Only a few places to look: Misco/OverclockersUK/Kustompcs/Fleetwoodcomputers and thats about it.

Found a canadian site im gonna import a PCI-E cable from...Gonna cost me near £25!!!

Not best pleased...But in the end it shud look nice.

Good thing i ordered my 6680 a few days ago...Here we go then:

Beauty case but, Clean up that wiring mess in there!! yikes! All the bright lights on earth won't make that look better. When you get it all pretty on the inside then you will have a sweet setup!

Lol i just dont have the time to tidy it up :P

Aquagate runs well...on low fan speed it does about the same as a high end air cooler on max. E.G. Thermaltake bettle @ 4000RPM...and is silent at that speed.

Low - 32c Medium - 28c High - 24c

So not bad really...Took me time to get a replacement tho, my first one beeped at me like id asked it to build itself.
