ElanVital T-15

My first mod so please don't laugh.

someone else modded the windows. i know it wasn't too creative.

i just finished extending the wind and shaped it like an "L" and stuck a 3M clear white plexiGlass to it. sorry i don't have the pics but my gf has my dig-cam with her in Africa.

anyway, everything else i did.

before pic:
http://www.mydestiny.net/~dgnetwork/tmp/case.jpg

after pic: almost done. i have to finish the top of the "L". excuse this pic. i took it on a webcam.
http://www.mydestiny.net/~dgnetwork/tmp/new_casemod.jpg

will be modding the DD5 soon as i can find the LEDs in HK or Japan.

I have just the shell of my case done right now but will share anway. I hand made the window and etched it out with a dremel, after seeing the laser cut type windows kinda wish I had a laser.

Hay -=HN=- WILD9 is that air conditioning duct on the side? If so is your fan realy that big? Has to be loud as all git out.

ya i know the feeling. always think three steps ahead. i'm getting kinda used to the dremmel though. infact, i like the dremmel so much, i'm modding 2 other cases at the same time. i don't even have the windows yet.

NO, the ElenVital T-15 came like that. the best thing about it is that i can keep all the drive in the upper bay and keep the lower bay cooer.

i can' wait to see how yours turn out. i can imagin the lighting effects. was that case purple from the start? it looks pretty neat . good luck to ya...

No, I painted it today and will apply a clear coat on monday when the stores are open.
In order to engrave and stuff on plexy glass I bought a router attachment and the flexi shaft for it. Best investment I ever made, and a must for any one doing any type of projects.
Heres a befor pic, I think it makes a great improvement.

Not sure at the moment but I think it might be the ASUS A7V Motherboard. We have only one guy here that has one for $160. but am looking for good performance and hopefully a bit lower price tag.
This is the learing project inorder to get the feel of whats and hows.
What do you think about this one? SY-K7V DRAGON, AMD Socket-A Based, VIA KT266 ATX, VIA KT266(8366/8233) chipsets. I read that a new chip set KT266E or some thing is up and comeing. Need to do more info digging.

Has anyone tried yusing cast acrylic instead of plain-old plexi? You can mask it off, and sand blast a design into it. (You have to use REALLY mean sand) To mask it, just cover the whole sheet in wide masking tape. A couple layers would be advised. Then cut ou your design with a razor.

Not me in particular.. I am workin on too many thing now as it is. Just thought I'd throw the suggestion out there. Give it a shot, and if it turns out to your liking, write a tutorial.

11 site over there would happily post it. ------------------------>

My case is not modded much yet. I bought the Lian-li PC-65 which allready comes with the plexiglass preinstalled. All I did was add a green cathode and fix my wires up. Ill prob add watercooling in a month or two when I save up some more cash. I would like to get some sort of LED display on the front with temp readings or something like that. I have only had it a week so Im open to anything. Suggestions and welcomed and appreciated. Thanks,
