This paint is killer. The pics do it no justice. Looks more like a ceramic coating. Feels like it too.

I have some conformal coating that is UV. I am planning to do the boards. That way it will look clear in room light. I also have some flouresent paint I was thinking of using on the fans and such.

Thanks

Water is still a ways off for me. I am interested in the environmentally transparent case right now. (Made of almost nothing but fans. Obviously, it's ging to take me a while to collect the 100+ fans that this will require.)

Nah... I'm gonna use weak little fans and run them at 5v anyway. When the whole case it fan, you don't need that much. Also, I figure that it'll be cheaper to buy a high amp 5v supply, than to add a second PSU to power the fans.

I might have to do 5v and 12v... I want to use some 120's. They typically require more than 5v to start.

I look forward to seeing this....

Are you going to use only fans? Or have a frame to attach it all to.

Very minimal bracketry. The machine will only have 1 5¼" bay, and three 3½" bays. (only 1 3½ exposed for the LS-120)

There will be no flat sheets of metal other than the floor, for obvious reasons.. I could put it up on wheels, though.... Hmmmm..

I did a bit of painting today. Came out OK cept for a few water spots. It was raining out and I was impatient. The front bezel's next, then maybe the monitor. Looks kinda caked on, but its really not. Its hand hammered texture spray paint, so the pics don't really do it justice like they should

Hey Mojo !! "Hand Hammered" ? heh. You took a hammer to your keyboard? LOL

Just kiddin' Man, it looks nice. I took the top off my standard layout MS Internet KB but the buttons came off with it. They weren't separate. Ah, well. This is rapidly turning into the Keyboard Mod Forum, ain't it? hehe

This should probably be here.... but I don't really want to put it here till it is "done".

(It is a sweet case mod, though.)
