Question 8k3a+ and SLK900

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know if the SLK 900 fits onto a 8k3a+?

I'm thinking of purchasing one of those beauties in order to cool off my 2100+. Hopefully installing a 92cm fan and with a mod I'm planning to do which includes putting in air to the tower directly from an old air-condition unit which will be used just for cooling.

BTW has anyone done a mod with an aircondition

I'm hoping to run this 2100+ at 15X166.7=2505 MHz

Any thought or suggestion is welcome:beer:

the size of the holes are universal (someone correct em if I'm wrong on this), it should have no problems there; but the resistors on the left side of the socket may be a problem, you can bend them back a bit if they get in the way. http://www.thermalright.com/slk900.html Thermalright has a compatibility chart, but your board isn't on it, the dimensions are there though, along with some pics. you may want to make a cardboard cutout to the specs and pictures (to get the shape), the see if that fits.
