Akasa Pax mate.

OK seen as my computers in my bedroom and i wanna keep things quiet i was thinking bout this noise reduction stuff. You stick it to the insides of the case. First thing has anyone use it and is it any good?
Also does it have a any adverse effects on cooling bearing in mind my case fans will be at the front and the back so i prob wont b putting the stuff there neway??

if u use it right it wont affect cooling. its to stop vibration, so as long as nothing rattling aroud, old mouse mats will do the job just fine.

buy some of those cheapo green cloth ones, and butcher them with scissors and screws!!

PaxMate didn't work for me
Didn't stop noise and didn't affect cooling.

Thnx for the advice guys i was jus worried that as my case has holes in the side for ventilation covering these up may affect the coolig of my machine

Just in case my post was deleted accidently, LOL. If you have good airflow through your case(personally, I like 100 cfm for a K7 machine) the vents in the left hand case cover should be taped shut. Most folks swear by Dynamat, it's expensive and smells a bit yucky before it's "broken in." I don't know if it's available in the UK, or if it has a different trade name there.

Cheers cloasters i havnt got any airflow at the moment trouble with trying to overclock with a sh**** job and exams at the same time!!!
I think dynamat is available but its a lot mroe expensive than paxmate and i was wondering whether theree is that much of a difference between the two
