 Thermaltake Volcano 9 vs Thermalright SK-7 I heard the SK-7 was a excellent cooler that doesnt break the bank. I am currently using a V9 and my temps are hitting as high as 55C full load on a 1.7V @ 1.93GHz. I can get a SK-7 for ~$15 which is less then I paid for the V9. WOuld it be worth the $15 to get one?

| ABSOLUTELY.. Take the fan off the V9, attach it to the SK7 and you will definitely get a BIG improvement. The V9's fan is really good (SF2), but the heatsink is absolute garbage. BTW: where can you get the sk7 for $15?

| www.svc.com Although after shipping its like 22$, still an amazing price. I wish I had spent the extra dough and gotten an SK7 with some more quietness.

| I bought a $15.99 sk-7 from svc along with some fans and round cables great deal , keeps my XP 2500 barton below 40C with a sunnon 50cfm fan ( not too loud ) .

| my room temp is ~24c-25c . no duct .my system airflow involves : 120mm Papst in (front) 40mm x2 on hd caddy's 80mm SmartFan2 on cpu 40mm x2 Iceberq's on nb/sb 60mm Taisol hsf on gfx 80mm x3 on psu 80mm Papst out (back) have you re-applied AS3 and checked for good contact .
