![]() I know most you guys out there don't care for it but put that aside. Do you think a thermaltake smartfan or tornado(which is thicker) would be too much weight for the AMD socket? It will be connected to a volcano 9(yea, I know) which has three prong connectors on the heatsink.... Any ideas would be appreciated.... Tom

The P4's heatspreader provides some level of protection to the core. AMD's chips don't have so much protection...
