Zalman Reserator Fanless Water-Cooling System

I just came across this nice bit of kit the other day
http://www.overclock.co.uk/customer/...=17494&cat=566 It’s a cheaper solution for water cooling that I wouldn’t mind trying out, does anybody know anything about this kit? Does it come recommended?

Thumbs up

The reviews I've read is that it does its job, its completly silent, and you have to put ur ear up to the res to know the pump is even going, or look at the handy flow indicator. If you have case fans and they are all zalman quiet, u'd never know your computer is on(well except for the fact its hard to run Prime95 with it off!). Its been speculated if you put a housefan on the reserator it might put the temperatures low enough to get some serious overclocks outta it. This isn't to say its not too great of a water cooling system though, but lets face it, the block is no LR cascade...

basically if you water-cool for silence, this is the one. offers decent performance in cooling and man its quiet

Ditto. As I understand it this one is intended for systems running at stock where silence is paramount. It would be very good for A64's which run cool and fast at stock settings.

I am tempted to get one for my A64 which I hope to get running totaly silent in the fullness of time.

I have spotted a similar unit, but different make. I guess you could make something similar yourself, although it probably wouldn't look as cool.
