A piece of advice

Don´t drill holes anywhere in your radiator, even to mount more fans to it.

It will leak.

This public service announcement was brought to you by stu who now knows a little more about how radiators are made and has had to order a new 50GBP worth or radiator+barbs.

This one:
http://store.over-clock.com/ThermoChill.html
(it´s the thermochill 120mm one at the top of the page)

Should arrive in a couple of days. The house computer situation is a mess: my rig is down as I have no other cooling technology, the case is waiting for some mods to be done while the parts are all over my desk. My sis`s rig has been turned into a router but has no internet connection. My dad´s gf´s pc I´m using runs win98. stuck on 56k, enough said.

Give it a week or two and I´ll be back on water, with broadband and a web/ftp server too...

i have access to any welding facilities. Some kind of silicon or something might seal it but the damage is pretty severe. Basically I thought water flowed round the edge of the rad and the fins in the centre just conduct heat. Now I know the water actually goes through those fins. They´re really thin and flimsy. Any sealant would block of some of about 25% of these fins so it´s not worth it.

Yeah, your probably right, you don't be the same "expendable" area as you do with larger equipment.
