CPU diode calibration

I note that they point out it's only applicable to a Pentium III, and not applicable to an Athlon or P4 chips.

Seemed to work on my AMD Mobile!
Think it is only relying on a linear response of temp to CPU speed at constant voltage.
Indeed if you plot the revised points for my figures(1537,19),(2511,31) and include a 0,0 point you do get an absolute straight line.

For a given diode, once you have worked out the ideality factor (which is essentially what they are doing), it should be pretty stable, regardless of what type of CPU it is.
