Question basic question

pretty basic question here, how can i tell what temperature my system is running at (i have an amd64 laptop so prolly not much i can do to reduce it anyway but i would like to keep an eye on the temp from time to time)

If you got a cd with the laptop it probably has some tools which will allow it. If not then try speedfan or motherboard monitor

only got a win xp home rebuild disc with my laptop so i'll give those progs a go
