Looking for New Cpu Cooler

Hello,

I am running a Mobile Barton 2600-2.4, 11.5x213..I really want to get more out of my cpu.I would like to get to 2.5. My temps are very high ..I run very stable in the 50C's. I would like to stay with air .I looked at the Sp-97 Thermalright but I cannot get one anywhere. I am using a Vantec aeroflow right now.Any suggestions and if you can tell me where to get it =).

Thanks,

Zephr

Get the SP-97, its a beastly sink, then whack on a Vantec 92mm Tornado, better get a fan controller too. Otherwise deafness will follow. Its a 119cfm fan. Where are you located?

If you cant get a SP97, see if a XP90 or XP120 will fit you mo/bo socket.

down $10 from when i last saw it. Throw on a panflow or some other quiet yet high cfm fan and you're set. Heatpipe coolers tend to do a better job removing heat from the CPU, copper core at least, helps to transfer heat faster too. Thermalright makes good ones. Silence goes to zalman.

Ohh sh1t, sorry mate. XP90 doesnt fit a socket A. A Gigabyte 3D Rocket Cooler PRO fits a Socket A, they are also a very good cooler.

The ThermalRight SI-97 is basically an xp90 for socket A. A good fan can make all the difference cooling wise. The bigger the better really (higher airflow for less noise)
