Correct temps?

I've just replaced the ref cooler on my athlon 64 with a cooler master vortex dream. Last night it was idling around 3 degrees c cooler with the new cooler with cool n quiet enabled. I read today that I should disable cool and quiet when overclocking, so I did. My idling temps are around 41 at stock, and when oc it to 2.5ghz it only increases to 42 and strangely decreases when I activate a network connection. Is there a temp bug on the Abit KV8pro? Thanks

Seem something like you said....
I have custom watercooled and at default settings (2.2GHz, Vcore=1.500) my A64 754 has 31C (idle 27C)...
Maybe your mainboard sensor effects of fan pressure....

Turns out that was a new bios release on the abit site with a temp fix, I'm now idling at 18 degrees c at 2.5ghz with cool n quiet enabled!
