First off, make sure you didnt allocate to much over a small area AS5...as it will insulate heat as oppossed to disapate heat. Also, make sure you have good exhaust going out of your case, becuase having hot air floating around in your machine is going to really kill you. But 65C Load is fine....65C idle is running hot, not uncommon, however also look into the possibly it could be a temperature mis-reading...which can always be a small reason.

Another thing you should do, check to see if your Heatsink is making good contact with the core of the card, it should sit flush, tight, but not putting to much pressure on the board.

its on tight but the HS wiggles from left to right just a fraction of a centimeter, all the screws are as tight as can be

also note that my case has the mobo upside down so the vid card is up higher in the case than a regular case would have...would that make a difference b/c hot air rises?

My zalman wiggles side to side aswell I don't worry about it anymore. I also got some 1200 grit wet and dry sand paper and hand lapped in the contact surface dropped me 2 more degrees C.
