90mm Fan Options

Having recently assembled my A64 3000+ with the XP90 heatsink and a Vantec Tornado fan, I have found it to be way too loud. I reduced the voltage to 7V and it still whines.

What are some quiet fans, preferably with a 3pin mobo header connection? I'd rather spend a few extra dollars to get a high quality fan. Maybe even a 120mm with an adaptor down to 90mm.

Any ideas?

Mobo specs are listed in my sig below.

thermaltake make some fairly quite 90mm fans with 3 pin power.

Thanks QSDT

I should also ask if anyone is using this tornado with a fan speed controller, and at a sound level that isn't vibrating thier eardrums. Cleary it is a quality fan, but 2 of them in parallel could lift a 747 off the ground....lol

Picked up an Antec Pro Series Dual BB 92mm fan today. Much better than before, and so far a negligible temperature difference.

I've often seen 3 blade and 5 blade fans stacked right on top of each other. I'd guess that this is done to get the CFM without the noise.
