CPU Cooling, what way to go.

HI

i was after some help/advice about cooling.

i'm looking for a new cooler for my CPU (P4 3ghz)

as it's getting a bit hot for my likeing. about 40c-48c

i'm looking at getting:
Thermalright SI-120 Heatsink or XP-120 (MB will take both, is one better then the other?) with Vantec Stealth 120mm Fan.

or i was going to get the Thermaltake Fanless Liquid Cooling System (Rocket)

with the Thermalright SI-120 / XP-120 is there better or worse cooling having fan closer to the side of case as you would have with the SI-120?

think thats will do for questions lol

FS,
I found a use for a choc fire-guard.

Both of them are fine put Artic Silver 5 --> click here and you are OK.
In addition you can o/c your CPU with this heatsink avoid Vcores > +5% of stock voltage.

I don't like ready w/c solutions.
I prefer custom made (with my hands) believe me it is not difficult you can find many guides.

You could just get a Thermaltake Big Typhoon or even a Zalman.

I have tried all of the heatpipe based heatsinks i can get my hands on, and the Thermaltake is the best so far, in an open-air environment. my surrent sytem does not take too kindly to being inside a case, and having tolerable noise levels, and i hear that the zalman heatsink, the newest one, performs a fair bit better than the thermaltake when in a case.
