Thermalright XP90c

Just wanted to say to anyone thinking about buying this Heatsink to buy it right away! Just got mine installed and tempratures are amazing

AMD Athlon 64 3700 San Diego @ 2.2GHz 1.4v

Idle = 25°c
Full load after a couple of hours folding = 33°c

Such an easy heatsink to fit you dont even have to remove the motherboard!

Only concerns are its weight!

Amazing!

I might want to look into that. I'm running 27c right now, and this box has been folding on both cores constant for a solid week. I am at stock speed with a 3800+ x2 939 using the sad little cooler that came with the chip. Maybe with that cooler I could force a little speed out of this dual core. I know they don't OC well.

Edit cause I need to read before I post.

Very nice! FX-55 and still going. What fan is that, I'm still deciding which HSF combo I should get and I'm not real sure what kind of fan I would need on an XP90(C).

The beauty of the XP90 series is they will take any 92mm or 80mm fan so your choice is massive! you could go from a silent slow spinning 92mm or go for a screaming 80mm ... ive trying otu a few different fans at the moment, the one in the picture is a quite loud Antec but ive tryed a slow speed akasa AK184 amber and it was near silent and didnt hurt temps too bad...

If you're not into led hsf fans, take a look at the panaflos. Running the 56cfm on my plain 90-non copper. With 20c room temp, my 3200 venice idles at 28c and runs 100% load at 39c. Vcore is at 1.5, and the cpu is at 300x9.
