i want that fan!!!

hi all,
while i was browsing cases on ebuyer, i saw a case that has an extreme fan. it's 250mm! Yes, more than double the ones you get with high end coolers. What i want to know is where i can get one! Here's a link to the case: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/105849

It's incredible, i could do that as a mod, it would be ace. So, anyone know where to get a case fan like that?

Thanks,
Scott.

I know where you can get one, but you will have to pay £35+ shipping

Alternatively you could just use a deskfan

But wouldn't an old newspaper just suck rumor and push hot air?

not if you use an american paper and just rest it against your heatsink, american papers suck more than anything.

Alternately just get four 120mm fans and create a square of them.

actually, 4 x 120mm fans would probably be better, apart from the center of the fans. Perhaps i should buy 4 cheap 120mm fans, remove about 3/4 from 2 sides of each fan and superglue them together. if i do it right, i could probably take all the wires into one molex, that way they still remove hot air as well as stay quiet. Alternatively, i could just buy one of those cases since it has a fan controller and fan built into the side.

Not nesesarily. It depends on the size, pitch and shape of the blades. Also factor in the power of the motor. A large well designed fan could be very quiet and still push a great deal of air.
