Recommended Heatsink for ASUS M2N32-SLI

I'm building a new system and have selected the ASUS M2N32-SLI mobo (AM2) with an Athlon X2 5200+, but I need to pair these up with a decent heatsink. Can anyone recommend a compatible heatsink? It's been a few years since I've built my own and I was looking at the Thermalright offerings. The XP-90c looks good, but I think I need some sort of adapter bracket for AM2.

Thanks!
Rich

If you want a really awesome cooler, the Akasa ones are serious stuff. However, i would look at the Zalman, particularly the CNPS9500-AM2. This is one serious cooler for one serious system.

If you also need a Chipset heatsink, i would wholeheartedly recommend the Thermalright HR-05-SLI. Couple it with a cheap 80mm fan (even the £0.65 ebuyer fans will do), mod it or adapt it to run at 7.5V and you've got serious cooling power (you're looking at about 32C max at idle).

Be aware that this may be different for him due to different cpu!

I would also take a look at the Gigabyte coolers and the Artic Cooling 64s. ACs cool better than any other air HS on the market.

I went with the CNPS9500-AM2 and just got it installed tonight. It is compatible with the M2N32-SLI Deluxe WiFi and was pretty easy to install. Man is it quiet! Thanks for the recommendation. With stock settings I'm idling around 25C.

The most important thing is the CPU temperature difference (full load - idle) cos any motherboard and monitor program show several values.
Values up to 7-8 Celsius are good for aircooled systems.
On the other hand the Vcore plays other one role.
