Too much?

Planning on installing 4 120mm fans as intake (front, side, back, top) and using the psu fan (80mm) as outtake. Is this too much? A small water cooling sys is coming in a near future (only for CPU).

Would it be better to put the top fan as outtake?

Top fan blows the ram, front fan the raid array (2HDD), back and side CPU.

You probably will need the top as an exhaust fan. You want a positive case pressure to reduce hot spots and dust. But you do need to get the hot air out.

You ARE going to have to sit near this, yes?

One 120 in, one 120 out, scatter a few small weak quite fans where ever you think warm air conjugates.":O}

If your warm air's complex component is randomly inverting, you have more serious problems than temperature Dan

Afraid is too late for small fans, they are all 120mm. Never the less the top exhaust fan is making quite a difference; CPU-> 51C; MB-> 42C and that's an improvement.

Send for a Corsair Nautilus 500 water cooler. Hope it worth it.

Looks worthwhile to me. I prefer detachable W/C'ers

BTW you can make those fans adjustable if the noise starts to get to ya. The water cooler should help quite things as well.

Let us know how she does in your rig.

Will install a fan controller cause I intend to keep all the fans. Thank you for ease my mind about the cooler.
