Well I bought a tidal pool waterblock for $20 (didn't have time to make one at the time) and bought a 75GPH@2' pump at the local petshop for $15, had some old hose layin' around, used a 2 quart plastic jar to submerge the pump in, and had an old heatercore layin' around that I had previously yanked out at the junkyard for nothing.

Low end watercooling is more like .15 C/W

your right 30 PSI aint much, but screws were loose, and the engine needed an overhaul at the time.... the seal on front housing was bad, air spraying everywhere, looked awesome, but made for hot exhaust temp. also take into account the engine was only really safe to go to 100 000 RPM... it was spinning at close to 150 000 we think! possibly more! we are balancing it properly this time....

I didn't know that jet engines existed that power model aircraft. Wow! But what about the price? The real things, well Turbo-shafts for a light helicopter, used to cost ~$100,000.

Hmm. Methinks that Turbo-Shaft miniature engines probably don't exist. Might be wrong! Turbo-Jets and high/low bypass Turbo-Fans?

Compressing air to a 7:1 ratio makes it hot enough to strip off your flesh. How could such a compressor benefit in the cooling of a CPU? Bi-Turbo Intercoolers! Silly me, why didn't I think of that solution.

This subject is most interesting. Further explanation or suggested reading would be greatly appreciated!!

I know it is possibly to internally mount a delta, azzkicker did that. That is awesome, i would really love to see what the c/w comes out to be with all that turbulence.

also it would be interesting to see if all that crap about embedded mounting making the fan quieter is true, especially with a delta.

Hey guys, tried it.

CPU temps go down 4C with this stacked fan arrangement. And the integrated fan speeds up from around 5800RPM to 7400RPM. Noisy as hell . . . .
