New HSF for an overheating Prescott

Yup, after much frustration with overheating with my P4 3.4Ghz Prescott I am finally replacing the HSF. A simple question, what HSF would you guys recommend that can keep my cpu cool, keeping money in mind.

Hmmm, that HSF has good reviews but it is $60. Anyone have any cheaper suggestions that have worked well for them?

Actually I just found it for $22. The $60 was based off of Newegg.com. Usually they have reasonable prices so I figured $60 was gonna be around the price everywhere, I don't know why they had it marked up so high.

at $22 that is a steal, I would definatly get it

But yes I was quite confused when you mentioned such a high price - it is far above what I had expected!!

Thanks for the suggestion for the Freezer 7 Pro. I got it in today and it lowered my temp 15 Degrees Celcius, and it's quieter as well.

I think he means a 15C reduction. Regardless....it just goes to show how astonishingly good the Freezer is considering it costs about as much a CD or DVD.
It furthers my arguement against the advantages of WC...unless your a hardcore overclocker it just doesn't make sense anymore.
