What's the temperature difference for your system??

Bonjour folks!
LOL I don't speak French!
Let's be serious my SLK948U heatsink cools enough the old fashion SanDiego 3700+.
At idle the temperature is 24C and at full load is 35-36.
What about yours?

I don't have an idle temp because I am always folding! Load temp is ~50°C though

LOL folks stop folding for some minutes and check the idle temperature.
20 minutes is enough.

I think not....

Folding my temps are 34 @ 1.45 VOLTS with my video card in the loop.

depending on the time of day my fully loaded cpu temp varies, on a cool night (5c ambient) it will be about 20c and on a warm day (20c ambient) it will be upto about 35c. this is using asus' pc probe. intel's tat is about 10c higher if not more. as for idle temps it rarely happens and starting the smp folding core is a right pain in the arse so it just keeps on going! but they're about 5c above ambient i think.

keithwalton if you perform some simple calculations then you will see that the relation of CPU temperature and ambient is linear.
Try it if you don't believe me!

durrh, and so it should be! as the deltaT between coolant and cpu should be constant, and coolant and ambient should also be constant. Its more so in my case as my heat exchanger is external and mounted in the opening of my window so it breathes ambient air.

At this point with this tropical month we're having I do note quite elevated temperatures on my rig.

At idle it's 40°C and at load I won't pass 50°C.
Ambient temperature is a whopping 28°C
With these settings my stable/unstable turning point is 52°C. So I'll probably revert my overclock a slight bit.

I'm on a custom watercooling solution with 1.875v vcore pulled through my mobile at the settings in the sig.

Not bad Wolf2000me.
BTW what's the voltage of fans?
I mean they are run at maximum = vacuum cleaner?

Using 2 120mm fans adjustable with a variable resistor on the radiator. Currently both fans are spinning at around 8v.
And I am just cooling my CPU with the watercooling setup. I used to be running it on an "aircooling with vacuum cleaner" setup. That's why I changed it
At this point my graphics card is the loudest, I'm going to be glad to see it go after a complete upgrade later this year

Thanks for info Wolf.
To inform you increasing the fans' voltage from 7V to 12V it reduces the CPU temperature 3-4 Celsius at full load.
