Ok you already ordered it, I was going to suggest one that came with some pretty impressive cooling already on it.

What card were you about to suggest? I might want to get a GF4Ti4400 to replace my crappy GF4MX440 that i m using now. Pairing it with my Sony M81 TFT screen, so i will need DVI out(which i guess most GF4s will be coming with)

Pretty impressive cooling as in a better fan and RAM sinks?

This is a great topic. I need help with it also. I have a GeForceTi4400 OC'd to 290/585. If I try to take it any higher, I crash. What is the BEST cooling for the GF4TI4400 under... $40USD (inc shipping)?

Seems that no one is replying to the question we posted, i seriously need a better cooling on my current chip until i get the GF4ti4200, it crashes as soon as i put the memory speed to above 430MHz

if you dont wanna put better heatsinks on the card, then they make what they call "card coolers" they are 2 fans that mount to the PCI tabs and blow on thevid card and what not

Anyone bothered to suggest adding a Crystal Orb fan for the chipset?

To improve your video card results you should increase the cooling of both the chipset AND the memory.

The Thermaltake Crystal Orb does a fine job (and looks great as well) for the chipset cooling and there are many options, some already mentioned, for memory cooling. The Tweakmonster RAM sinks are one example of upgraded memory cooling.

w00t.. after taking the cpu multiplier to 12, the fsb to 144, and overclocking my graphics card to 310/600.. I finally broke 9k on my 3dmark 2001 se lol. Hopefully I'll be able to get it higher.. once I get some better ram and some heatsinks for my graphics card.

I can clock the ti4400 higher (320/620).. but I get artifacts in some of the 3dmark demo dealios..

That doesn't sound very good. My XP1900+ (Un-OC'd) and GeForce4Ti4400 (Un-OC'd) got 9450. With OC'z (XP1900 @ 1704MHz, GF4 @ 290/585), I got something like 10175. Wickedly great speeds!

I installed the latest chipset drivers as well.. what kind of mobo you have.. i have an msi k7t266 but waiting for my 8k7a+ to show up or might get an 8k3a+

Also what OS are you using.. I'm using XP Pro with the latest detonators (28.35)
