Thermalright SK6 I have been thinking about getting this heatsync for my next cooling mods. I am looking at fans in the 3000-5000RMP range, but I cant decide what one to get. Any ideas? |

I have the SK6 on the T-bird sys 1.33@1.533 The pic shows you the temps & the vc also. But this is with the Delta screem'rrrrr look @ the fans RPM's I have some sound insulation so it's not to loud. Good luck

I'd say the Thermalright AX-7 is one of the best heatsinks available right now and is priced moderately. You can get here at NewEgg for only $28 plus fan. The good thing about the AX-7 is it uses 80mm fans which will allow you to use a quieter 80mm fan instead of a 60mm screamer (like the Black Label Delata 38cfm) and still get the same cooling. And don't forget you could open your wallet a little farther and get one of the Swiftech coolers and have the finest HSF available! (unpaid plug for Swiftech!) ![]() ![]() ![]() BongWater

I had an SK6 modded like the on OC's front page. Poor thing couldn't hang with the 1.4 unless i put a faster fan on it. Rob

AX-7 ROCKS! Get it with a variable speed fan and it beats my SK6 by 4 - 5 C. SK6 is good only if you use the highest speed fans and can stand the noise. Also the new clip is much nicer on the AX-7. sethpa
