Intel program

I just found this and uploaded it. I'd guess some of you know it but I'd never heard of it before. I haven't played with it yet but from what I gather you can pre-load it with what you think your OC is going to be and it will estimate your temps for you.
Here is a scrn shot:

We've had that file before. At the time, Intel were being twits, and asking people to remove it from their sites. I don't know if their policy has changed or not.

It was a little difficult for me to think that you guys didn't know of it. The forum that led me to it was in tomshardware and said it was very hard to find and I just kind of accepted it that way. TechPowerUp.com is where I got it but it didn't seem google had any problem with it.

What exactly is the name of this program?
Because I tried to look for it (Normally I can find anything I want) and it was nowhere to be found.
What the program "looks" like is Intel CPU Monitor, but I could be wrong...
So what is it?

Muff1n,
I usually don't have to much trouble finding what I want either but I've got one that is giveing me a problem. Maybe you can help. It's an Overclocking utility for Biostar boards. I can find reference to it all over but no download. I have one piece of it on my CD.Here is Biostars link:
BIOSTAR
I've run through drivers guide. I've googled a couple of times and quite a few sites know of it but I can't find a download. Think you might take a shot at it?

Yeah, TechPowerUp were one of the sites that were hosting it at the time that Intel were asking everyone to take it down. I don't know if TechPowerUp worked some kind of deal with Intel or not.

Near as I can tell, this utility doesn't exist anywhere for download. Interesting....

I finely tracked it down. It seems it is very limited in it's scope, it doesn't even support my board. I think that i can get some of the individual programs within to run, we'll see. I'll upload it later on today

Now I'm positive I'm loosing my mind!
I already have this program! I've had it for a couple of years now...Doah!!!
Why I didn't recognize it I have no clue. Maybe it's because I haven't used it in years.
Once I got Prime, Orthos & OCCT I stopped using it altogether & just forgot about it...

I've yet to find ANY software that works as well as bios settings do for overclocking.
Of course if there are no options in the bios (Locked) it could be your only recourse such as CPUFSB which I used with my old 845 Intel board & a P4 2.4Ghz that I OCed to 2.66Ghz via the PLL settings.

By the looks of the different screens of this utility it might be the first. Unfortunately my board isn't supported. I did get some of the test to run but useless w/o main program. I wonder why my board isn't support as it is one of their new ones.

The program will only offer all features on an intel branded board. It does not fully support 3rd parties..

This utility was written by Biostar, not Intel so why would intel be dominent factor?
Is it as good as the screen shots show it to be?

I probably do have the utility, just haven't checked to see what is on the CD. Pulled the board and I/O shield out of the box and threw the rest in the closet. I don't use any monitoring software, my Windows drive is actually pretty bare outside of a few games and prime95. I use a sensor in a groove I machined in the waterblock. Next time I have my waterblock off I'll take some pics.
