i work in a computer store 2 days a week and can say that most laptop that comes in the shop are jammed up with dust and just over heat and blow the mob. I would think about buying some dust filters which will fit easy on any 80mm or 120mm fan. desktop are not so bad really but if left for to long could go the same way really. iv still got my 6 year old gaming pc running fine and i still put it down to making sure its got good cooling and cleaning out but that base on how much i use it really.
