PetCarrier ll has it right!

With a very modest OC both F@H clients running, my temps were looking good so I decided, with Everest running to turn of all fans and see what my temps would do. The two fans you do see are not what they are labeled-the CPU fan is 90mm blow hole and the other is a 1 1/2 fan I put on the SB. I don't have controlers on those. The other 6 I do.
These are the temps I got after shutting them all down even the CPU fan.

Talking

Cool, looks like the new board is already rockin & rollin with good temps which is what you wanted!!!
For once it looks like everything is coming together on the first try...YAY!!!

(You might want to fix your signature on the graphics card...its a BFG Geforce)

Shut down the CPU fan? You're a braver man than I am, Gungadin.

Believe me, I was watching the temps close! At least with the rigs I've put together, I can-but don't-turn the CPU fan down or off. That's with a moderate OC where the voltage isn't turned up very much. The good HSF's do a great job.

EDIT:..............and mine are always folding.

So the processor's HS is a massive block of copper and you also had case fans running while the CPU's fan wasn't?

As stated in first post, I don't have controllers on 2 fans. Those were running-everything else was shut down.
And yes, a block of copper and a lot of aluminium fins! I always get the best HSF I can afford at the time. Bigger is better, by the way!
