A chest freezer would burn up Jazz. They aren't engineered with a constant load in mind, as such the oriface that sets pressure in the condenser, and vacuum in the evaporator, is on the small side for high temperature delta and high energy efficiency. The compressor works so hard that it would burn up in very little time from running almost constantly. It's likely a chest freezer wouldn't keep your rig too cool under load anyway.

Thats lookin good, I see you like Comair fans, but it looks like your a little on the weak CFM side with roughly 690cfm with those four fans. :-D

Yeah its just a shame I'll only have 470 CFM going through the chiller if I use the 2 172s. I picked up both brand new for $24 shipped. It happened to be the guys first ebay auction so he threw in a 92mm Rotron for free! I think he is still selling Comair Rotrons on Ebay so do a search if your interested.

Sam I already knew about the rheostat deal they have going on but where do you see the patriots? I only paid $24 shiplped for 2 Majors and a free 92mm. Did you mean half the price of that?

Yes they were $7.50 but looking today it appears they are out of the 12volts so its a moot point
