Bahh 120 and 240 doesnt hurt at all. Actually 120 kinda tickles . Now you want pain try 700vdc from a amp cap. I don't know what hurt worse getting hit by that or hitting the wall behind me......

Yeah, but 10 or 20 amps at 110VAC only tickles a bit. With 5V there isn't enough electromotive force to penetrate the skin, maybe if someone stuck some metal pins under your skin and hooked you up . . . .

I can't comment on the amount of amps needed to not tickle, I know you can be killed with about 1/2 an amp across your heart at any voltage

Yeah @ 5v.. but there are several open areas on your body people can get electrocuted by, especiallly children who go round trying to eat things

Reasonable is only as much as the market will stand. Depends on what your potential customers think which is effectively what you are asking here. You're going to sell these to people who are either less technically capable than yourself, those who do not have the time or those who can't be bothered to do it themselves. The first and second groups allow you to charge a premium. The last will eventually get round to doing it themselves, if ever.

You obviously need to cover your costs, plus, if you're going for volume you need to allow for things like marketing, packaging, postage etc. Most important thing to build in is your time, or the time of those who will make them for you. YOur own time is not free, others will require payment and if it takes off you could find yourself with extra costs and no easy way of increasing your price to cover them.

When you look at your final price build in the VAT component now, even if you don't register. At early stages its just extra profit which won't be claimed back by c&E. Even if you don't hit the threshold for some time it will prevent giving your customers a nasty surprise when you're forced to add it later.

WHatever you do best of luck with it.

Just out of curiosity, how does being electrocuted make you fly across romms and stuff???
Is it muscles in the body suddenly contracting?? Or some other kind of force.

Most of the time it's likely to be a muscle spasm. However, under some of the more extreme circumstances(lightning), the electricity will rapidly super heat the air and create a pressure wave.

Heres the final version.

The swich has been removed as it will be more trouble than its worth.

Ive added a pass through on the 12v with the money saved on the swich.
