smart fan mod

I was starting to regret getting an Antec smartfan (as opposed to a stupid fan) when I figured that if I connected the leads for the heat sensor diode thingymabob it woud run at full speed, so I get out my trusty needle nose pliars and as soon as I touched the thing it shattered, well, no turning back after that, I connected them securely, and started up my machine, when to my suprise, it started blowing air like a Delta, it sounds like one too. I will prolly end up wiring on a rheostat so I can manually controll it, but until then, I will go insane from the noise. temps didnt drop at all, but that is prolly because of my weak hs fan. but because my new high tech ducting restricted air flow too much, I had to take it out , and my temps are back up to normal now, (it is a lot quieter without it). some day, I wil get my temps down where they should be. (cpu: 48 idle, 59 load.)
