I should have linked to the manufacturers site not the point of sale.

Can you please delete those maze-2 pics, i only posted them as I dont have a email pic host. (this must be against the rules but i cant delete them as you changed the editing rules)
No way! They are great pic's!! OK...They a Great BIG pic's! But they leave nothing to the imagination, we all got a great view of these two Water Blocks.

If you insist I will of course comply, but I'd much rather leave them up...If I may?

If somebody were in your approximate locale, then gladly I would send one of mine to you. However shear distances make this proposition unworkable, my friend. So the next best thing I can do is to give you an idea of how the Cyclone 5 performs with an 8K3A+ and the 2912 bios rom.

Setup I speak of is closed loop, everything within the case. One radiator (260mmx160mmx40mm-2row) positioned in the top of the case with 2x 120mm fans extracting air through the radiator and out the case. Next radiator is positioned at the lower front of the case (190mmx160mmx60mm-3row) with 2x80mmEHE Delta +2x 80mmBX Sunnon. At full flight these lower fans flow 260cfm. These are all controlled by a variable speed fan bus. For less noise.

Cpu at Benching speeds and 2.05 volts for stability produces approximately 120watts, video card 40- 50 watts(when clocked to max) + 80 watt TEC- inefficiencies into account and being fed 12.5 volts produces about 66watts. EHEIM 1250 produces 30 watts-They run warm. Out puts are all approximate. There is approximately a litre of fluid in this system.

Temps for the system with an ambient within the case (m/b sensor) of 23 Celsius. Externally 18.5C
  • CPU idle 33-34 C,
    CPU load 38-40 C
Water temps approximately 22C. If I engage the halt command then idle cpu temp drops to outside case ambiet values.

my load temp on 8k3a+ is 42-43*c with 25*c water (its warm in here as heatings on, ambient is approximately 21-22*c case temp reads 27)

So that means were getting a similar 18*c delta with a 120watt cpu and eheim 1250, my flow might be a bit better than yours as you have more in your system.

Dan... if you like the pics then keep them up, they are all shiny afterall

Thanks Holst

BTW,

Swiftech:
Idle =
Case tmp 22C
CPU Tmp 33C

100% CPU Load =
Case tmp 22C
CPU Tmp 36C

Room Tmp 18.9 C
I'm using the complete Radiator, fans, Enheim Pump from Swiftech.

Can you tell us CPU type voltage and overclock.

If you want you can use this to calculate wattage
http://computernerd.com/cgi-bin/thermalcalculator.cgi

Thats on 8k5a2+ as well, so it will read lower temps...
