Damn Hot CPU.....

Okay,

I have an Athlon XP 1800+. Besides the fan for the CPU & PSU, I have two generic 80mm case fans (one at the front sucking in and one in back blowing out). I also have a Slot fan which I have located below by video card to suck off heat from the huge heatsink and push it out the back.

Under full load conditions, the CPU hits 42ºC. At idle, it hangs at 39ºC. It has a stock cooler that came with the CPU. The board temp is at 33ºC.

I'm wondering what the best CPU cooler is. Currently, I have one side of my case off so I can keep it at the above-mentioned temps.

Any thoughts?

Board Temps of 33c is not Good.

Do you know what your case Temps are ?

I would work on your Case temps and that should help your CPU temps aswell.

Try higher rating Case fans, delta and YStech make good ones.
