Help! Any one know about beep codes

Balls! I just swapped out my watercooling for an aircooler and something is not right - I've checked all the connections, but my epox 8k3a just won't post. Fans and discdrives spin up, and i get a beep code: long (maybe one second beeps) all the same length.

Beeeeep.... beeeeep.... beeeeeep - you get the idea.

Anyone know what it means? I think it could be serious. I plugged the PC speaker in for the first time last night, and after about two minutes of trying to sort stuff out, the cable started to melt!! Obviously, I don't want to plug it back in.

Help me please...

thank you.

btw - i don't have that funky boot decode LED, so i can't give you a hex debug code. :-(
Going to post this in the epox forum as well.

I can't be certain, but continuous long beeps are usually a memory error. Check all your memory is seated properly.

The wire on your speaker shouldn't be starting to melt though.... are you sure it's connected correctly?
