ARGG! My system died!

Left my PC running last F@H last night, came down and it'd turned itself off. Pressed the power button, not a thing. The PSU fan isn't even spinning, it's not the fuse in the plug, cos I've tried swapping it with my monitor. I took the side off my PC and noticed that when I press the power button, the CPU fan spins for a very short ammount of time, doesn't even do one resolution though. I'm pretty sure it's the power supply that's fried (dirt cheap one), I just need a second opinion before I go and spend money on a new one. Thanks for the help.

If you have a spare PSU, or you can borrow one, I'd do that first. That way you can be sure it's the PSU!

Did you try a different electrical outlet?.....
Only other thing I can think of, try clearing CMOS

Unfortunately the only thing I have that's not being used is a 200W AT PSU from 1995

I also have a PC that I could borrow the power supply from for half an hour, so long as it's powerful enough.

I've tried a different outlet, doesn't make a difference (it was originally working off a multiblock connector that was working fine)

Just wondering, how would clearing the CMOS help? This is almost certainly a hardware problem, isn't it?
