new psu.. what died...?

Installed a new Antec Truepower 430w yesterday.
(I have built many computers over the years)

I turned on the computer and heard a humming sound from the psu
but before i could shut the power down, the fuse went..

Now the psu is dead... i tried my old 340w psu and the computer boots up , but no picture...

The led on my Epox 8k5a2+ does not show anything.
So my guess is that the motherboard is broke.
But today i will test the rest of the stuff...

This sucks...

This well and truly SUCKS!!
Sorry your having a bad day at black rock. Cling to your Warranties in this dark hour my friend!
(If you have no warranty think of how almost hopelessly outdated those parts were. think of the new features you will be forced to acquire for they are the new standard!.....

Should I've just stuck with I'm sorry?":O}

after changing the cpu. the led on the motherboard starts running.
It shows the code c1...

Welcome to AOA, raven_swe!

Any progress in fixing this problem, raven_swe? Sheesh, I didn't check the 115v/230v setting on the last three PS's I bought! Cruisin' for a bruisin'? Duh!

thx m8..

I have had no luck with the m/b or cpu.. they are dead R.I.P...

But i will get a Epox 8rda+ and a Xp2100 Tbred-B (Payed a small difference)
Will perhaps get that package tomorow..

So i have no idea why this happened.. and i will still run with my old psu

Saw a friend of mine Daywalker is folding like crazy.. must catch up to him
