| 8k3a and slk800U no go? Well folks, I need your help. I just bought a slk800u ( with the screws). Carefully installed it following the instructions. Put everything back in the case. powered system, everything starts exept for the mainboard diagnostic leds, no code , no screen, no post. I thought the mobo was dead but when i put my coolermaster back on, all was fine. retried a number of times, but nothing. Right now I won't be sacrificing any time anymore untill I know what is wrong. Has anyone had this problem, and if yes, how to slove it? Thx

| How does the fan connect on the SLK? Does it go to a molex conector or to the MoBo header. If it goes to a molex connector and the coolermaster goes to the MoBo hearder then your mobo may not run unless it has a RPM signal from the CPU fan. To work around this problem try plugging the NB HSF into the one for the CPU Hpoe this helps.

| The fan is the same, connected to my rheobus. the rpm sensor is connected to the mobo. I think it' s got to do with the xplate on the back of the mobo. Thanks anyway.
