Unhappy whats wrong????

i have started to get the computer cutting power well i am playing games i have just got the new fx5950 card and i am running on the q-tec450w do u think i should go up in power as it was fine on my old ti4600 card the other thing is that when i am playing top 3d games i am getting a clicking sound from the fx5950 card is this ok or not????i am not sure what todo as sometimes i can play games and everthing go's ok??????

Please post your complete system specs, as this will give us a better idea how much power supply you need. A quality 450w power supply is normally plenty for most systems, but it does depend on how much power is actually being delivered on each rail. There should be a sticker on the side of the power supply that indicates the output for each voltage - if you can find that post the info also. What drivers are you using for the video card?

fx5950ultra (creative with 2 fans )
120gig sata
1 philips dvdrw
1 cdrw ultraSPEED
1 floppy drive
3 case fans
and the drivers i am useing is from the nvidia web site (version 6.14.0010.5672) this is going fine when i am playing but then just cuts power i have to unplug the power then plug back in the it is ok????

Something does not add up...your peak wattage should be near the max....not 15 watts lower....sounds like a cheap power supply....Your posted wattage comes to 435W at peak.....and that is not 450...maybe a misleading model numeration system....try Antec or if you have a friend (a good friend) with a decent power supply....just see is they will bringtheir box to you or you to them and hook up from their power supply.

it has got ac input 230v - 4A 47-63Hz
it's the q-tec psu 450w dual fan gold!!!!!!!plus it's seems to cut out more on fast moveing games like coiln mcrae rally i can have about 5 to 6 games then the power go's unplug then plug back in then it's ok??????
way can i get a good power supply online then !!!!!!!
