Unhappy ME won't start up w/ zip drive

My Computer won't start up with my Zip Drive in.
this is immediate because i don't have a Media player and I don't have the disk for one either, so I copied onto a zip disk and plan to transfer it over. It's Win95 so any idea(s) would help

It was taken from win95 onto the ME. The vmu devices are like lost, or something, (the computer can't find them)

So the computer posts and then freezes during the windows boot sequence?
ok when the boot up sequence gets to the point when it says 'Now booting windows 95' or what ever, press F8, and then select step by step confirmation and see where it freezes then get back to me.

Did you upgrade from 95 to ME or did you format and then install full version of ME on your machine ?

This is a rule of thumb for me.
If an operating system comes with a systm restore built in to the OS then you will have troubles with it in the long run.

I agree with b0bb1nz, just throw Win2k in and forget the problems that you have with WinME.
