| my mozilla reset???? hi all! omg! i was offline for an hour or so and when i clicked on the mozilla icon it started as it always dose, but the homepage was different!! also all of my bookmarks are gone!! and all of my email is gone!! i looked in docs and settings and everything is still there but i cant get it to mozilla . usualy when i put the latest mozilla on i remove the curent one and install the new one and everything updates itself automaticly. so i tried that and still no mail or bookmarks. can anyone help?? thanks, brian770

| worse!!! well i tried everything, and it got worse!now i cant even get mozilla to work! i will be offline untill monday afternoon i'am just going to do a format and redo everything.its getting to be about that time anyhow.wish me luck! thanks for all your help. brian770

| once agian i'm back! well, i think i set a world record for a complete system format and setup. lol....but i ve got everything back as it should be. with a couple of exceptions.i cant seem to find the option on mozilla to smooth the mouse! i know its around somewhere cause i used it before and it makes a huge difference. i do that alot, find some realy cool stuff and then forget where it is....one of these days i will learn to write it down.lol.. thanks for everybodys help!! the only thing i can think of that would cause my system to start screwing up is that i put service pack 2 on about 4 days ago, everything seamed fine and then i slowly noticed things started slowing down and locking up for a second or two then free up. so i will just leave sp/2 off untill its been out for a few more months and had a fix or two. brian770

| Heres a hint......................... If you don't like pop-ups and browser hi-jacker use "Opera". I was fed up with the BS from IE and Mozilla and ditched both. I've been using Opera only for about 2 months and have not found a sight it will not open (Except MSN Dl's), have not had a pop-up or had my homepage hi-jacked. SW

| Same thing with FireFox. I've not had a single popup or browser hijack since I started using it.

| inner prob hi all!! i dont think my problem was a internet related one, cause untill i installed sp/2 i never and i mean never had a problem, pop up or hijack. if it was a problem from the net it was caused by sp/2 so if you do do sp/2 ( hey that rymes!lol) i wish you the best of luck!! brian770
