To clarify, both were a X800 XT PE. Not my X850, that's going into my AMD rig.

As for killing them, the first just refused to do anything graphically intensive. Just used to hang. The second as running nicely until one day, I loaded up to see massive atrifacts during POST. Most worrieing. Tried to flash it's BIOS, tried it on 3 machines, but no luck. I'm pretty sure the pelt froze it to death. But can't be sure.

Ohh I see. So you killed two X800XT PE's and then you got an X850XT PE for your "Work In Progress". Thus far, im impressed with your work in progress.

Should be up and running for next weekend.

Due to this recent failure, My P4 rig is going to be retiring come March.

By retiring, do you mean, sell it?

What specs and how much?

Don't know if I'm selling it, It'll probably be gutted for spares and converted to a folding machine.

Might have a few bits to sell off at the end of things, however with the amount of hardware failures I suffer, spare parts are very welcome.
