It takes a lot of power to run an Asus A8V mainboard. A brand name power supply may fix this issue. Unfortunately, "480W" doesn't mean much with generic PS's.

just wanted to thank everyone for their help will try to update the bios with the EZ Flash but if it still wont work Ill rma it.
