Have you already ran memtest86 to check for memory errors?

Looks like IE has been trashed by a hijack or virus of some kind.

Tried using a restore point?

You could try to repair it by copying IE files from another PC.

Talking

This is what makes windows so nice. No matter what you can understand you should know that "the memory at $#$#@!$@! could not be "written" at %$%$#@%$#@ and click OK to close" This is a very nice message. A big thanks to the interface people that gave us this amazing explanations.

Please click NO to close the application

MS started offering 6 or so Critical Updates(with one for IE, if I remember correctly) for XP last Tuesday, the 12th of April. They've done my box no harm so far. I apologize if this is old news.

I use IE very sparingly, all the same.
