Unhappy game stops and A51m 7700 alien computer goes into standby mode
I've been playing TigerWoods 2006 and when you turn golfer in a different direction the game stops ,Iget a black screen and computer goes into standby mode.Only way out of it is to reb00t.What could cause this?

USB mouse? might be IRQ issue. check device manager for any red "x", or yellow "?" or "!".

Is it a ATI card. This is problem I had with my ATI card and many others have had it too. Several things to try are turn off VPU recover, Lower AGP to 4x, up AGP voltage, turn on or off Fastwrites. There are some other things to try,but I don't remember them right now.
